Amaranta E.A. Karssiens, MSc, studied Social Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. She has more than 25 years of experience as a consultant / change agent / executive coach and works in the areas of organisation development and leadership for profit and non-profit organisations. In her work she combines attention to the achievement of organisational results with attention to personal leadership development in ‘mind, speech and body’. She provides coaching to managers and leaders in the course of long-term projects and is a skilled facilitator of group processes during project start-up and execution. She is associated to the Technical University Twente. There she teaches in an international MBA programme and in a Master Honours Course Leadership. In the context of the latter she conducts PhD research.
